I thought I’d post the character sketch I use for writing now. I have a 4 page in-depth character sketch, but found I never used it once I filled it in. If there isn’t a place for the information you need, you can place it in the Miscellaneous section. Good luck with NaNoMo!

A nice, simple character bio
Simple is the best. I tried in-depth character sketches but I never used any of the information. I figure if something is important, I can always write it down in the misc section.
Thanks this is most helpful. Today, I really need it… just started to do a character sketch.
I’m glad it’s working for you. I prefer the simple character sketch to a more complex one. Unless your characters are going to span several books, all the information is useless and a waste of time. Good luck on the story.
