A Sample Press Release

I found this link on Twitter via Sybil Nelson and wanted to pass it on.

I’ve run into a lot of advice that suggests writing a press release for your new books, but very little on HOW to do it. If you’ve run into the same problem, you might be interested to see this sample press release posted on the Writer’s Lounge blog.

  1. I have had a sample press release available for anyone wanting to know how to do this in my book PRINCIPLES OF SELF-PUBLISHING: How to Publish and Market A Book or Ebook On a Shoestring Budget since 2009. It is available at http://www.antellus.com/book/nonfiction.html right now. Also, the book includes how to self-edit and how to set up publishing galleys for various formats.

    1. Thanks for the link, Theresa! i always think the more examples we have, the better.

Your website is helpful, and your vampire seies sounds interesting. I think that press releases are very underrated. If done right, they can be very effective in generating publicity and eventually sales of your work. Keep up the good work!
